Kimongua Filmes is a young, award-winning production company. Created to produce artistic films that are politically and socially engaged, Kimongua Filmes has produced documentaries and short films selected for major festivals such as Locarno, Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Curtas Vila do Conde, Indie-Lisboa, RIDM, Uppsala Short Film Festival, FilmFest Dresden, and at contemporary art festivals such as the Venice Biennale.

Currently, Kimongua Filmes has two projects in co-production with the French production company LES HISTOIRES WEBA and the Brazilian production company ZAWA FILMES.
